Inishowen 100
While this may sound like a rally circuit you certainly will not be breaking any speed limits while enjoying this fabulous scenic drive. The route is approx 100mile long and skirts the entire coast of the Inishowen peninsula (hence the name). While the route officially starts in Bridgend it can be picked up anywhere along the route. It is a popular route for cyclists and fundraising events such as tractor runs and classic car rallys. More information
Causeway Coastal Route
If travelling from Belfast you can enjoy the scenery along the Causeway Coastal Route to Derry or even take the Lough Foyle Ferry from Magilligan to Green Castle where you can join up with the Inishowen 100. More information on the Causeway Coast
From Carndonagh with connections from Derry, Buncrana & Letterkenny
This public service bus, travels through some of the most picturesque areas of north Inishowen. It leaves from The Diamond bus stop in Carndonagh and can be hailed anywhere along the designated route. At only 4 euro return it is tremendous value and connects with many of the service busses to Derry, Buncrana & Letterkenny.
